Look to me like you got a F-16 body with wings from some other jet kit. I guess they had parts laying around put them in a box and said it was a kit. Here's a picture of my X-Flight F-16 you can see you have most of the parts for it just not the wings.

The fuse, canopy and belly pan look very similar to an Ultrafly F-16 although the appendages on each side of the fuse are not standard UF F-16. The nacells look like GWS A-10 hardware. As for the wings & stabes, ????? Where does it look like the nacells would attach? Should be interesting if you can get a CoG somewhere near the correct spot so as not to punch her in before figuring out she's too nose/tail heavy. Good luck.

If you have engineering skills it shouldn't be too hard for you to make F-16 wings, tail, and tailerons to complete it as an F-16 using some depron. Maybe you could even look for some people locally that have say a Phase 3 or Enroute F-16 and get measurements off thier wings and such. It appears to be about the same size as those before mentioned models. If nothing else I believe one of those 2 complanies sells wings, tail, and tailerons sets for those planes. Would be worth a shot in any case.

Why make an F-16 if you can make something different
Are you sure it isn't somebodys unfinished kit bash to make a fantasy plane?
The two nacelles look a bit superfluous to me.

Hey five, you might want to try the rcgroups forum as well. Plenty of modelers there as well. I agree with the others, nacelles look like GWS A-10 stuff. Fuse almost looks like a F-16 XL, wings I have never seen. Smaller fins look like the ones you'd see on the bottom of a F-16. I think this isn't one model jet, but a few pieces. Still could make a really cool jet.

RE: help identifing this jet thanks
do you think it would actually be flyable and how would i begin to try and figure out a power package for it thanks for all the help Steve.

I am pretty sure it can be made to fly with some engineering skills. Making it a pusher jet would make the engineering a bit less demanding, I think.
The more I look at the pics, the more I think it is a kit bash in progress. Isn't that F-16 fin bases where the canards would go?

Actually, I think it IS a f-16... however, the wings are wrong. Infact, as I look at it, I looks like a section similar to the vertical stabs base are glued on backwards where the wings would be on the F-16. The wings shown are not apart of the same plane. The tips of the wings don't look right either. It has to be either a kit bash, someone was very drunk, or the previous person acquired it from someone else, and knew nothing at all.... I don't know how big it is, but plenty of EDF fans out there that would fit in it. Remove the side oddities, make new wings, and go from there. It looks like the fuse and tail are all there... just not the wings. If you feel it is trash now, someone here would buy it! Plenty of reworkers in the hobby. How big is the intake? The width of the intake/ducting will determine what fan you can use. Or a pusher it could be...

Hmmm, maybe the wings WERE correct after all... looks like perhaps someone chopper them at a 30 degree angle. If you keep the LE straight it would end up looking like a F-16's wing....

It looks a bit like X-Flight's small F-16. What size is it?

The wings are almost certainly butc ... er ... modified F-16 wings. Are the additional wing tips on straight and secure?
In the canard configuration a spar through the fuselage might be the easiest way to hold the wing in place. That would not allow good airflow for a fan, though.
