Kress fan unit and planes question
My dad gave me a kress jet kit (a SAAB Viggen) and the fan unit for it. My question is what motor and gear works best? How well does it fly?

I didn't know that Kress had made a Viggen kit. If the fan is the RK20 then you want to use a OS25 Df motor with a OS40 carb (will drop in). I had a Viggen that I built up from Ziroli plans 20 years ago that was a good flier.

I had a light blue fan blade from him 10 years ago. BAD !! THa out of balance was unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!! Not enough lead or balance holes possible to do the job. It would have ripped the engine out of the plane.
Check yours on a prop balancer. No balancer ? Use a anything round. Dowel or rod between 2 tops of books.
