Fresno Jet Rally
It's about that time again -- The 8th Annual Fresno Radio Modelers Jet Rally 2003! Here is your relevant information:
When: Sat. & Sun. Sept. 20 & 21. Sat. 9 AM continuing ALL day with a BBQ and night flying (so light 'em up and bring 'em out!). Sun. 9 AM to about 3ish. Friday IS a pilot's flying day with jet flying, open flying, test flying, general hanging out. Friday also counts as early registration, so show up and save!
Spectators: Bring the whole crew! We have a snack-bar, evening BBQ on Sat., lots of room for parking and spectators. Bring your chairs and maybe some shade. Admission is free, parking donation appreciated. Look for us locally on KSEE24 AM show Friday the 19th to give a teaser about the caliber of jet.
Where: Ave. 12 Madera. From the 41 heading North, pass Valley Children's and turn left at the first stoplight (there's a flag-barn on the corner). Continue 3 miles exactly. If coming from North or South 99, take the Ave. 12 exit, head East, go through the Ranchos, and it is 1/2 mile past the edge of the ranchos.
What: All jets, all the time
Lodging: Camping (no hook-ups) or there are several local hotels. Call for info. on this.
