How should you finish Polystyrene Foam Aircraft
I have just purchased a Robbe BAE146 EDF kit.
The plane is supplied as raw polystyrene, and my concern is that it will become weak with time and brittle.
Can you cover these components with a material of some sort to protect them?
Is there some sort of glass or tissue that will protect them?
Thoughts?

If you have the product Minwax clear polycrylic or another type of clear polycrylic, thats a good brush on type sealer for foam. It's ment for wood, but with a few coats you can then use spray paint from a can to paint the plane if you wish, test on an area firstt of course. Otherwise the polycrylic has a good shell effect. There's also the heavier thinned epoxy method.
