flatten blue core?
I'm building my first blue core foamy and the sheets all have waves. Does anyone know how to flatten it out. I was thinking of steam ironing it out with a towel on it. Any suggestions.

wet it with warm water and slowly start to bend it strait. then, place it on a flat surface, and let it dry. the main thing is to wet ti with warm, not hot, water.

Try putting it between two sheet of glass and setting it outside in the sun. I have not done it myself but have a friend that swears by it. I just pick out the best bundle I can find and build with it like it is. Never have had a major issue with the waves.

If you can find it, A better foam is Green Guard by Pactiv. Looks the same as BlueCor but the XP14 is much stiffer without any weight gain. It, Like BlueCor is an sliding under - layment so the best places to find it are those that do vinyl siding.
Last of all. Almost every bundle I have seen has been flat with no waves anywhere. Around here, it is also cheaper in cost than PB3 or BlueCor.

where do u get it?
BTW, the one that I'm refering to is the XP14 and XP38 fan fold. The others are ok but way more flexible.
