Default Have any of you guys tried this fuel?

I was at my local Wallyworld today, and happened upon this fuel for my leaf blower. Thought I'd try it on my gas planes, too. Any experience/opinions?

At $26.99 for a 6 pack of quarts? Someone's trying to make a killing?

I'll stick to glow fuel - it is cheaper than that

I realize that it will never replace mixing your own, due to the price, but I bought it because the wife wanted it for the leaf blower. It is a bit more convenient for her. I figured, what the heck, I'd try a tankfull myself....

For a quart? No thanks, even premium gas and the most high tech oil is less than half that.

Sorry, no sister. She doesn't mind helping in the yard, especially since I've had back surgery, but she refuses to mix fuel. I agree wholeheartedly, at that price, it isn't any cheaper than glow fuel.

Instead of buying overpriced premix of questionable quality. Turn it around and do all of your engines a favor.

What I do is I run all of my garden equipment and other 2 strokes on my plane fuel. I mix up a batch (I mix 10lt at a time, you may wish to mix a smaller Qty) of the fuel for the planes and I use that mix in my garden equipment.

It means the garden equipment gets fed on fresh 40:1 Premium pump Gas / Synthetic oil (I currently use Castrol TTS) so it sure is kept happy and I always have fresh fuel for my planes. It is also way cheaper than buying premix.

If you went that way, you may want to get a quart bottle and refill that from your plane container for your wife to use on her blower.
