The original hall sensor was centered on the lower crankcase seam.

The original timing was rather high at in the 32 to 34 degree range.

Almost all gas engines run best with the timing set at 28 degrees BTDC

Being as the ignition sparks as the magnet leves the sensor, be sure and measure your spark position while rotating the crankshaft in the direction that the engine runs.

Get the RCEXL sensor. it will work perfect with the DLE ignition

The engine will run at 28 degrees total timing.

16 X 8 is OK

Some use a 17 X 6 on a 3D model

My DLE 20 has all DLE ignition on it.

However, the DLE isgnition is just a RCEXL ignition with a different timing curve.

If you replace the main ignition module, use something besides the DLE 20 ignition module. Use a regular DLE 55 or a genuine RCEXL ignition module.
