Was wondering what 3 blade prop people are using on the BME 110 Extreme...
I thought the rule was 1" shorter so say a 27x10 3 blade? Or is that still too much...
THe setup I am looking at will be about 24 lbs all up and the performance hit of 3 blade isn't that big of a deal to me... I just don't want prop rip which is why I am considering 3 blades.
I've read that the 110 rips even 28x10's when broken in.

I think Tim Indy runs a Biela 26x10 3 blade. With that light of a plane, I would think a mejzlik, air models 26x12 would be the way to go, or even a fuchs 25x12 (fuchs is a little more load then a mej or AM, hence the lower diameter)

A 3-blade Mejzlik 25x12 should work very well. I use it on a 3W-106 and get about 6,000rpm on the ground. It is very quiet in the air. Performance is also very good on a 27 lb Wildhare 35% Extra.

The headers that work are the KS headers. Aircraft Intl has them in either standard or flex. They are not cheap though, they are $90 for a set, but very nice headers. They are not interchangeable with 3W headers though.

Wingburner the performance is down from the 28x10 two blade but then so is the noise. I have the 110 in a GP 330l all up wieght is 20 lbs 9oz so it goes without saying that performance on either prop is out standing, the air speed on the 3 blade is way down BTW it turns the 28x10 at 6600 on stock mufflers.

I have a Mejzlik 24X10 three blade on mine mounted on a modified Miles Reed Weeks Solution X. You can see video of it on my website. This is the most trouble free engine I have ever had right out of the box.
