I have a 24 oz in my Pitts--I have never never ran mine dry except the first flight when the throttle arm came loose--35 minutes at about 1/3 throttle. If you are like me and use throttle management, a 24 oz tank will last a LONGGGG time.

I promise YOU willl grow weary and LAND --- LONG before you run out 24 oz. Particularly if you're flying anything around 15lb wts.
I've never timed it, but I think my 12 minute flights NEVER use 12 oz, even.

Yep...24oz is plenty. I run a BME50, and set timer for 15 minutes. I guaged it when new, and took the wing off of plane to see how much was left after a 15minute flight, I'm sure I could go at least 22 or more minutes. After 15 I still had somewhere between a third and half tank. This is with throttle management though, but rest assured..you should have plenty of reserve with a 24oz. Even at 3/4 throttle I can imagine at least 20minutes at that.
And.....at about $1.50 a gallon it' real nice. I've been through almost 5 gallons at this point, all in a little over a month....and here I thought when building the plane, I'd be years breaking it in....WRONG!!!!. The gasser's are VERY addicting. Be careful
....
Curiously...what will you be flying half to 3/4 throttle with a 3.2??
Reason I ask, I fly just around half, if that, and full on vert. is only a few clicks up from that. I usually fly some IMAC manuevers, and practice 3D with MidwestExtra300. It's just that 3/4 throttle on my plane(15lbs.) is blazing away, and seldom seen, even in verticals.

Ah ha.....Something to think about at higher altitude....thanks for sharing that. I'm down around 200' ASL(there abouts anyway) here in the valley. If I travel to any altitude though, that's something to think about. What prop will you be using? I've only had a 22x10 so far, it seems to do nicely here. Will the prop change drastically?
Also...wouldn't it also stand to reason since you'll be running a leaner setting(right?) you might just get a tad more run time per oz then at a lower altitude. So with that...for sure the 24oz'er, or even the 20 as you've already thought about. Good luck with your new plane.

I have a BME 50 that I use a 16 oz tank with and I get 15 minute flights with about 2 or 3 oz reserve. If you use a 24 you are going to be carying dead weight unless you want to make 30 minute flights.

First decide how long you want your flights to be, then figure about 1.25 oz per minute. Even at your altitude most of your flight will probably be at 1/2 throttle or less, so 1.25 should give you enough reserve for a go-around or two (in my case is usually 3 or 4) :^}
