Hi i just got a h9 1/4 scale cap 232 that i was going to put a ryobi 31cc engine will this set up will work?

I just got one of these planes too.
Will the Ryobi work? I guess it depends on what you want to do with the plane, and how much the engine weighs, and how much the engine puts out in HP.
I'm no expert on Ryobi engines. But, I'll bet it weighs more than a 2-stroke glow of the same size. It will probably put out less power too.
Just my opinion, but I think your gonna need more power. I'm going to try an MDS 148 (24.6cc) engine on mine. I doubt if it will have great vertical. It will probably do fine for some IMAC events, but I will eventually end up with an MDS 2.18 or a Moki 2.10.

thanks rcpilet i think i will stay with glow lol thanks for the info and yes it weight alot more the os 120 weights 32oz and the ryobi weights 61oz it's almost half more ill stick to glow thanks
