I have what is supposed to be a 3W 60cc Engine. It has a side carb that points outward. The engines on the 3W website are newer and do not look the same. How do I identify what this engine is? I know it is a 3W due to the Logo on the Crankcase.

That is a 3W 60K, first 3W motor I ever bought, they don't make em anymore. Actually it's 57cc's, 5.6 HP, and loves a 22-10 Menz-S prop. Flew it for years, liked it so much I bought another one! Got a Double Vision for it![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

You might want to talk to Gerhard at Aircraft International about the manual, I got my new one from him last year. I bought my first one in 1995 when DA was selling them, don't know how long they made, they quit making them in 97 or 98 I think.

Silversurfer, you are scaring me. What do you mean? I would think the mfg would have this manual but I do not see it on their website.

Personally, Gerhard has been excellent in supporting all of my 3W engines, whether I purchased the engine from him, bought the engine used from a 3rd party or other unknown sources. . . . .and I have a bunch of engines ranging from 24 cc to 212 cc engines. Onlyabout half of them were purchased from AI and Gerhard.

Call Gerhard and tell him Tom said to call, he will help you out. Or Bobby at Cactus Aviation is cool too. Not really anything in the manual that you need, he can advise you on carb settings and props, like I said before, it really likes the 22X10 Menz-S

Thanks for the help guys. One more thing. I can't find what the plug gap is supposed to be listed anywhere. Would anyone know what it is?
