Hello,

I'm new to gasser and I bought a Zenoah G26 for my extra300s. I started it last friday and it runs well at full throttle to mid throttle, below that, it runs about 20 sec then stop. I tried to adjust the low needle valve without success. I screwed the low needle valve completely to see if fuel can go into engine it that condition ( it's not supposed to) and the engine is still starting then dying 15sec later.

What should I do to solve my problem,

Check your fuel lines - sounds like an air leak to me.

Maybe a air leak in intake manifold joints. Or you got the carb needles way off. Capt,n

Thanks a lot, I check the diaphragm on the carburator and it was delaminated, so I found my problem. I change it and I tach 1800 idle with Biela 16 x 8. Thanks a lot again.

Snoop Dog: I am glad to hear you got the Zenoah 26 purring. My Great Grand-father was from Canada. He built his own ful size airplane. He come up with a way to keep ice off wings....but did not get it to the patent office first. His Last name ...Cousineau. Do you know any people with that last name. Thanks capt,n

Yes, I know some people with that last name, a guy with who I was studying at the National aerotechnic school in St-Hubert, Montreal. The girl at the secretary was a Cousineau too. Was your Grand father from Montreal ?
