Why does it rip???
not sure why but I can tell you when
All of mine between my 12" prop on a fun fly to a 28" prop on the Edge does it when adding throttle to stop a tailslide during a torque roll or hover.
Kinda like revving up an engine while pulling the plane backwards on the ground. Never tried it but it might recreat it.
Maybe some physics guru or engineer could better explain it.

Why does it rip???
Excessive speed (RPM's) is one reason, another reason is prop tip flutter.
I had a very dramatic (and cool) demonstration of this on my 100cc engine. I put a 24/12 3 blader on it to try and when applying full power on the ground, you could actually watch the prop tips deflect about an inch forwards!
Prop flutter needless to say is not healthy for anything involved or effecient at all, but it sure sounds cool

Jeg fik opklaret mysteriet om at de ripper et andet sted her på RC/U
Det er først i dag jeg ser dit indlæg her.........
Vi har snakket lidt om at tage en tur til Norge i løbet af året, men jeg kan ikke rigtig finde rundt i de forskellige træf i har :stupid:
