ZDZ 50 Problem
I have a strange problem with my new ZDZ 50 that has me stumped. The engine has about 1 gallon of fuel through it. When I can get it to run, it runs great. I can get it to run fine on the first run of the day, but after that it will not restart with out richening the low needle. On the initial set up, in order to get it to run properly the low needle was turned out 2.75 - 3 turns. If you let the plane sit and idle, it will gradually lean out to the point it will not transition. Today I let it idle and screwed the low needle all the way out. There was not noticable change in how the engine was running until I actually took the needle out, then the motor quit. The motor runs great on top, and the high needle is about 1.5 turns out. I'm new to gas engines, so the problem may be obvious the the old hands out there. Anyone have any suggestions?

Problem Solved...
I called Mike at RC showcase, and he made a few suggestions. I gave them a try and it still did not work, so I called Mike back. He sent me a new carb, and it arrived in two days. The new carb did the trick. I'm not sure what was wrong with the first carb, but something was not right. I highly recommend doing business with RC Showcase because their customer service is great.
