Default OS 300 twin - Pump???

I have an OS 300 on a Zirolli corsair, 34 #'s. It is ample power as long as it is leaned just right. It does not have mufflers, so no muffler pressure.

The differenenence between too lean and too rich is very small, ie 2-3 clicks.

does anyone have any suggestions for a pump or mufflers??

Thnks for your input,

Dave

I have the same engine on a Spacewalker - 22# - and I don't believe I have enough power. Each person's view of enough is different I guess. I don't have mufflers either, I would call them pipes to route the exhause away from the plane. I don't have the problem you describe though. I had the same condition you describe on another glow engine - I finally discovered some small metal chips in the carburetor. Given my experience with my engine and several others that buddies have, I will say that yours is not the norm. Now all you have to do is figure it out. When you do, the OS 300 runs like a swiss watch.
