Great Planes/Tower Hobbies makes several in their "performance series"

Cap 232
Yak 54
Sukhoi
Ultimate biplane

These are first class, top of the line, products. You'll like any of these.

Also, Extreme Flight 74" Yak would be about a 27% I think

Thanks.

Must be some very loose measurements by these companies. Most of the planes listed are all around 80" span and generally lighter. Hmmmmmm?

I hear ya. But they do list them as 27%. I had the Cap. It was a very nice airplane. I was surprised (pleasantly) of the quality. Excellent stuff.

I have the Yak as you know. I would have thought it was bigger than 27%. My AirWild, may it rest in peace, was 29% and it was about the same size as my QQ.

I'm guessing everybody calls them whatever they want. One thing for sure....the QQ is certainly in a bigger class than the GP stuff.

thanks
Barry

The full size Yak is a tank, its much bigger than most of the others.
A 27% 260 will be much smaller than a 27% Yak 54 naturally

You wont find more squares on any other plane either. 1420sq in. I think the AW has 1440 but is 88" span. The full scale had 26.75' span as indicated in another thread. My calculation for 27% came up with 96"? Is that right?

26.75 feet X 12 = 321 inches.
88/321 = .27 or 27%

So 88 inches is 27%.

88/321 = .27 or 27%

So 88 inches is 27%.
321 X .27 = 86.67

88 inches would be 27.414%
