Does anyone know the difference between the MDS .68 engine with the Big Block letters on the side of the case vs. the MDS .68 with the Smaller letters inscribed on the case?

Most likely no difference, but the carbs, there is a lot of difference, the one on the right being much improved over the one one the left.

MDS carb upgrade on the right.

while not MDS Carbs you may find one here in my link that will work for you. if not try to find an up to date OS carb that will fit. the large^ MDS carb looks large, as for the engine is a 68, I am wondering if the OS 60L (Hyper50 Heli) carb will fit ??? it's as big as the OS 70sz Heli engine 3 needle carb. those OS Heli carbs are super nice carbs
