Iron Bay Regulator
Anyone used the Iron Bay fuel regulator? I have one I just installed in my DP Edge/Moki 2.10. I just fired it up briefly and the needle setting are definately not going to be the same. The Moki runs great with the tank shoved up against the firewall but I want it back on the CG so the plane is not nose heavy most of the flight. I haven't really tuned it much yet I don't like taching the engine up here in the neighborhood but I did briefly, the engine seems to surge at idle and bog when transitioning from idle to full throttle. I think I am going to have to mess with the idle disc (which I am not looking forward to). I am not sure if it is too rich or too lean. The tank is getting good pressure and holding it.
I tried a Perry Pump for about ten flights and hated that thing, it needed to be adjusted constantly and still took off rich and wound up lean about half way through the flight.

RE: Iron Bay Regulator
Do you have the regulator body at the carb? If you have it some distance away, most likely the engine is lean. It can read the spray bar demand much better right at the carb.
