Enya 1.55 Inverted
Anyone running an Enya 1.55 4 stroke inverted?. Thinking about putting this engine in Great Planes soon to be released 120 size Super Stearman. How well does this engine run inverted?. Thanks

I am running an Enya 1.55 inverted in my Rascal 110. No problem! I do have an on board Glo-driver, but it's mainly for convenience in starting. I accidently turned it off one time after starting and it ran for the whole flight perfectly, Many touch and goes, several minutes of slow flight, It ran perfectly. This is a great engine! I am amazed that more modelers haven't discovered them. I have a 90, 80, 120R and 155R. My 90 and 80 are over 20 years old and still run great! You can't wear them out!

I have an Enya 155r on the stand, breaking in. I ran a whole gallon of wildcat 10% through it and it seems like it is just starting to break in. It really surges at high power but is getting a little less now. I will also be running it inverted with a custom muffler for in -cowl on a Citabria.
How much did youi have to adjust the needles when you inverted it?
