Old Fox Hawk 60 for Parts
Hello Guys,
I'm looking for old Fox Hawk 60's for parts, or a place to get parts for the Hawk. I've tried Fox but they don't have what I need. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew:
Why bother with the thing? Unless you just want to fly that particular engine, find a collector and dump it. Too many 60 size engines lighter, more powerful, and inexpensive. Plus, spare parts are available.
Bill.

RE: Old Fox Hawk 60 for Parts
William,
You ask why bother, well I guess that's what's so good about this hobby. I'm allowed to tinker with my old stuff and my new stuff. As far as dumping it on a collector, I've been flying this engine on an old stick for years. It's like an old friend that you hate to lose. It's one of two that I have, the other never being started that's in my collection. Also about newer, lighter, and better 60 size engines, out of the 43 engines I have, several are newer, such as Enya, OS Max, and Webra. After 24 years of flying, I find that I get as much enjoyment out building and tinkering with engines as flying. It keeps me from getting burnt out. I appreciate your response and if you hear of an old hawk let me know, I'd be willing to buy it.
Thanks,
Andrew
