Well i can see from your photo's that you hav'nt got around to chopping the roof off your f150 yet bruce (to blow a bit of fresh air thru the old brainbox) PLUS! that engine looks a mighty weed wackerish beautiful aeroplane mate.
Okc spot on with your sanding boards mate,it's a pleasure to use them.
Sr i checked the drawings and measurements you get with a new saito engine but could only guess at the 115's crankcase dia without removing the engine and measuring it.
Dave! have you test flown the bush hawk yet

That F 150 doesn't look like it's done growing, it needs an 8' bed.

Pete, I have the fuse about 1/3rd done, I need to be very careful now and get the fuse sides straight.

Thats my Royal PITA POS you are talking about there! I hate that truck. Been in the shop 23 days so far, 5 just this week and still in. Only had it 14 months. I miss my 2014 that did everything I needed it to do. Haul my FA to work every day, haul my planes and trailer to the flying field, and haul my travel trailer and family up and over I-70 to Utah on vacation. It sadly met it's end on an icy road when another driver lost control and slid across my lane in front of me. The red one in the picture I am so frustrated with that I am ready to let a Lipo slip under a seat and get crushed.

That so called weedwacker engine is a DA 100. I would prefer a 4 stroke, but Saito doesn't make one in 100CC that runs on gas.

And if Saito did make a100cc gas four stroke. It would cost as much as a new track.

and Diesel engines Ha ha.
I really like the looks of the 4 door or crew cabs and 8’ beds. 4” lift. With some proportional tires and wheels.
Well shoot just give me a truck that looks like BigFoot and i will be happy.

Acdii
yeah we live on the same latitude. This weather is starting to suck. Nice during the week and then cold rainy and snowing on the weekends

My 95 F 150 has 215,000 on it and the engine is as quiet as when new. Other than a fan clutch, an alternator and a starter it hasn't needed much, brakes of course. With a 3" FlowMaster exhaust it sounds like it has a 460.

Not for $1,000 it isn't!

Going to need a bigger trailer in the next few years as I add more builds. A B-25 101" span, a P-61 114" span, a B-29 149" span, and a B-17 112" span. Two twins, two Quads. The first two are kits, the last two plans only.

A bit like your truck brucethat thing looks way to feminine which may be why it's giving you so many drama's mate, trust me.When it was brand new you should have taken it straight to the body shop and had the roof cut off, then got the interior fully trimmed in genuine saddle leather that's been rubbed in castor oil, kinda makes it smell like a good saito engine then...specially with the heater on.Next time you panic on an icy road and get the squirts that leather is safe as houses friend

ps going to take the ducati for a gallop up to the york m/c show tomorrow, plenty of radar traps along the way but this is what you slow down for, never bet serious money on which way they will jump

That "feminine" truck can out tow anything else produced in 1/2 ton. So There!

My 14 with the 3.15 gearing did 117 passing two semi's. It was scary fast.

My 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona would out pull any 1/2 truck. It had 3.98:1 FDR in 3rd and a 5.7 Hemi. Funny thing is, the 5.7 in the cars made more torque than the same engine in the trucks. It would pull just as well as well as my 2005 3/4 ton Ram and got 2 MPG better towing at 65 MPH than the truck at 55. So there!

I used a light duty load distributing hitch and the car had self leveling rear suspension.
