Power difference in a Saito 91 vs Saito 100
Wondering how much performance difference in a Saito 91 and Saito 100. I have a broken 91 and need to replace it on my U Can Do. I only got one flight on the 91 when the rocker broke on the exhaust side. It was and old motor. Would I see any better performance from the 100. The 91 was just OK with a 15x4w prop. Would a 100 swing a 16x4w OK?

RE: Power difference in a Saito 91 vs Saito 100
I don't have a .91 to compare my 100 with but the 100 seems a lot happier (if you're running 10% nitro) with a 15x4W than with a 16x4W. I do know that some folks have used the 16x4W with 30% nitro.
However, my preferred prop (for 3D) is now the 15x6 Volk/Xoar/JXF and the 100 spins that wonderfully on 10% nitro. My 5.5lb Mojo 60 hovers at about 1/4-1/3 throttle maybe 4,000 RPMs, which isn't much more than a very fast idle. Loverly!

I actually experienced this myself, .91 on the UcanDo did ok. I swapped it out for the .100 on 15% with the 16/4 W and it was night and day. I personally would go with the 1.15 now!
