I am trying to get a saito 125 and I am trying to shed every ounce I can on my GP GEE BEE. I am wanting to know how much the flex exhaust weights for saito 125 and has one used one because the one they show for the saito 125 does not have a pressure nipple.

The flex muffler is made of brass if that gives you any clues

it actually does not. Is that a good thing or bad thing.

Brass is heavier than aluminum. However the flex pipe is VERY thin. I actually don't know if it would be heavier than the stock muffler or lighter. I do know that I don't like the flex pipes. I experienced less performance with flex pipes, and I have heard that they break very easily. On top of all of that, they aren't cheap, and don't sound as good as the stock muffler or a TurboHeader.

I bought the flex pipe for my 62 and it split after 4-6 flights. After spending $40 plus dollars and lots of frustration, I ended up putting on the stock muffler. I have since bought a Turboheader from RC Specialties for it after trying one on a Saito 72. Haven't been able to install it since the plane was lost to a midair. With the way the 72 runs, I don't think I'll ever use any other muffler again. I agree with the others here, Turboheader!

You will need to Email him about the 125 muffler.
