Sport 6 has no model nameing only #
Hi Guys,My friend was looking around for a reliable 6 channel radio. He can see that allot of the guys at the field including myself, have converted there Futaba radios to 2.4 using the hitec modular. On my recommendation hi bought the new Hitec sport 2.4, 6channel radio.I was helping him program the radio, when I noticed that It Doesn't have model naming, only numbers.[:@] I would have expected better from Hitec.I think that is terrible,a blast from the past, like the 1st Futaba 7 channel computer radios. Thanks Ed

The Optic 6SPORT is a lower price point radio than the regular Optic. To meet these price points for different customers there has to be a compromise in something. If model naming is a option that is critical to the end user then the Optic 6, Eclipse 7 or the Aurora 9 radio are the ones that should be looked at.
You can view the features of the radios on our site to see what ones have model naming and which ones dont.
