Can HS81's be converted to MG version?
I have some HS81's and have just bought a hotliner electric sailplane and would like to have the metal gear version for added security. Can the HS 81's be converted to the HS81MG version?
Cheers

RE: Can HS81's be converted to MG version?
Unless you have no other use for the HS81s I'd recommend keeping them and buying some HS81MGs, the metal gearset ($12.50) is quite a bit more than the price difference between the nylon ($17.49) and MG ($23.49)versions of the servo.
Keep the nylon geared ones for throttle servos and just buy some new HS81MGs -- that's what I'd do.
