Extreme Bashing Carnage
Last Sunday's bash session turned out be as expensive as it was entertaining.
Yes, that is a tweaked IRC 4mm 6082-T6 TVP.[X(]
Other damaged parts:
Am I crazy enough to solder plugs in this pipe and inflate it with HPA in an attempt to remove the giant dent, or should I just buy an ERCM stainless pipe?
That's an IRC high tensile steel dogbone, BTW.
Most of this was caused by launching the truck off of a huge dirt ramp and landing in a field littered with rocks. Landing backflips with the throttle on resulted in the drivetrain damage. Interestingly, my CEN diffs are still in perfect condition after 6 gallons of severe bashing. Those things are beyond tough.
As for the rest of the truck, well, if someone comes out with an R/C that can withstand my beatings, be sure to let me know.
