NEWBY NITRO TUNING-VITAL
i know this has been covered before[:@] but i'm really concerned for my engine plus annoyed at not knowing anything[:@] when i start my savage, it idles "ok" but as soon as i rev up a small bit, it goes crazy![X(] revvs really high and i have to put the brakes on for it to go back to idling. when i put it on the ground and drive around, as soon as i accelerate it cuts out i know it could be rich or lean but can someone please help me![] thanks for any comments guys

RE: NEWBY NITRO TUNING-VITAL
thanks someguy but im also a bit worried, the tuning videos are ok but im afraid i may have damadged my engine by running it too lean, what can go wrong if i start it off at base settings? thx also, i took it to a model shop a few weeks ago and they tuned it but not perfectly but at least it ran, im worried that if i put it on factiry settings, the engine will rev up really high as soon as i start it[:@] not trying to get at you, those links are useful, sorry im just a newb and want to get things right

with EXPERIENCE will come the proper/perfect tuning ability, over time you will be able to easily adjust for climate temp changes and humidity changes, just stick with it and be patient

RE: NEWBY NITRO TUNING-VITAL
I remember the joys of learning how to tune from reading stuff on the net or trying to remember what i had seen in the vids while on the field. It was the hardest and longest thing to learn and even now im nowhere near finished learning but i can get it to where i like it and im not damaging the engine so thats good enough for me. But each time i go out and tinker with it i "get it" just a little more. Stick with it, take the good with the bad and it'll just click one day. Its just a question of knowing what to look for and what to listen for.
