Default Do I have a P120 or a P160

Next newbie question ...
The person that sold the engine to me told me it was a P120. It came without the LED I/O board or the GSU. I connected the LED I/O board and the GSU from my P70 to the engine, and it shows P160.

There are no markings on the engine other than what I assume is the "serial" #. It says 0872

Here's an additional pic:

So do I have a P120 or a P160?

Thanks,
-Jorden

Send George at Jetcat an email with the serial # requesting the engine's history.

What you don't want is the ecu running the engine as a P160 if it is indeed a P120 and vice-versa.

Good luck.

Apparently George is no longer with the Jetcat service team, as of June 30th. At least that is what I was told by Dreamworks when I just called. Currently JetCat service is transitioning to Powerbox Jacksonville, FL instead of the Virginia location. I've reached out to them and they will try and assist me.

Looking at the tailcone it could be a P-160.
Does the ECU serial match the turbine?

This is the only thing on the ECU. The number does not match the turbine.

There would be a hand written number in the rectangular box. So ECU has been changed.

0872 was a P-160 made in 2005. If it was a P-120 #872 (without the zero) it would have been made in 2002.
