Default JetCat fuel pump question.....

hello all,

i found a used jetcat fuel pump in my parts stash today.....i tested it for a few seconds with a stock jetcat ECU 7.2 volt battery.....it operated fine.....

i'm also making a new fueling station for this year......

so the question is:.....can i use this fuel pump with the 7.2 volt battery?.....i don't know what the maximum sustained voltage the pump is rated for.....is 7.2 volts ok, or should i think about using a 6 volt battery to run the pump for fueling / defueling?

any thoughts?

thanks,
Rich

I think 7.2 volts is OK but I would not expect long life from a used turbine pump pressed into refueling duty!

Hope that helps,
