Why is there a propane filter ?
Jetcat is the only brand I have seen that supplies and requires a filter on the propane (powermax) circuit. I'm wondering why?? What are we protecting against?? I just can't imagine debris in a gaseous vapor....or is there??????

Artes also has a filter in the propane line.
I had one of those little hobby torches and a lighter that ran on butane refills. I bought some cheap butane once and it ruined them both. I think it plugged up the tiny orafices so it must have been dirty. Plus as Darryl said, when you make your hook-up to the fill line you can introduce dirt, dust,or debris into the line.

i believe it was once said that the filter is to help ensure that the PowerMax is in gas form rather then liquid when it enters the turbine.
