acdii Iknow how easy it is to get bummed out, been there with mine. With a plane like this you can't hurry it too much. Mine is my first gasser of this scale, it's been quite a job, it's built now. Some misc. stuff, I started some detail and this is going to take some time. What kind of gear you useing, air or servo?. I went with Robart in mine and inner doors require a sequencer valve, as will yours.
I'll post a couple picts. just to up your spirits a little. Leroy
Just finished cockpit, but waiting for gauges to complete.

Well I am back to working on my Stang. So far Ihave torn out the retracts, and remounted them, modifying the wells Iprevously installed. Then recovered what I removed. Inow have the wheel doors installed and one working setup. Need to work on the other side next and tie both together so one connection to the servo is needed since I am using a retract servo that travels 180* and will bind if Ihave a rod on each opposite arm. Since I am going to put the retract servo on the wing where the aileron servo is supposed to go, I am going to have to open up the wing again at the ailerons and install servo rails and fish extensions through for dual ailerons. Now that I have a plane that just needs some tweaking to fly, I can spend as much time on the Stang now to do it right.

acdii glad to see you back to work, on the 51 some anyway. I did'nt do inner doors on mine, instructions did'nt cover it when I built it and I was'nt going to cut it up at that point. All the closers I've seen were air and a special sinco valve . Yours is first I seen useing servos so I'll watch you do yours and I may do mine at a later date ? I'm so close to finishing this bird but all the little stuff is taking forever it seems. Will start detailing, lines & rivets in the coming week, once I get that done the rest will go quickly, I hope!![] Leroy
