Default Streamer Material - what do you use?

I need to make a few streamers for low power estes type rockets and wondering what others are using assuming your not using what came with the kit. I must have misread the description and thought it was streamer recovery but it came with a chute.
Thanks

I thought that would tear to bits on the way down .

Like the paper streamer type stuff you hang at parties, etc?

Crepe paper is a crinkly paper( softish) sold in flattened rolls of about 18" x 1yard from which you just cut with scissors a 2" strip/roll off the end. The crepe flutters and creates more drag than the smooth party streamer would.

You can also get mylar wrapping paper for presents from the gift section of wamart and target. It's almost the identical material that rocket shops sell. And it's very shiney..
