Default 977 pro 4s lipo?

Is there a way to charge a 5000mah 4s lipo with a super brain 977 pro? I have a parallel and series connector if I would need to use those. I don't want to drop big bucks on a different charger.

I wonder if I could connect channel A and B together using a series connector and charge each channel as 2s. I would probably have to stop the charge on both channels together, which would mean just unplugging it.

If there isn't a way to charge 4s on it, is there a way I could sell it back to the company? It is practically new.

I don't think that will work. The only way I know of is to split the battery into a pair of 2S packs.

Guver is right, there is no way to charge a 4S pack on the 977, short of splitting it in two.

Can you split the pack without it exploding? How big of a job is it to make two packs from the cells of one lipo pack?

Once a pack is factory assembled, I wouldn't risk dis-assembling it. I've never done it, so I wouldn't even know how to tell you to do it.
