OS 10 FP questions.
Hello,
I took a few years off from RC to finish my full size
Just aircraft. Needless to say, things had changed
while I was away. I had been planning to build an
F-82 from the .20 size House of Balsa P-51 kits.
I was able to scavenge one and a half kits from
Ebay, and four OS .10 FP's. I am starting out with
building a Sig Wonder Twin with two of the .10's to
break them in for the F-82, and install & fly the
second pair of engines.
All four of the .10's look new, but I discovered
this anomaly with the piston in one of them.
It has a machined hole in the piston, and I can
see the pin & the end of the connecting rod.I
am assuming the piston is installed reversed.
How difficult is it to correct this?
Also, I want to convert the needle valve position
to the back plate, so is the fuel nipple & mounting
bracket available to do this?
Sorry about the bad photo. The phone wouldn't focus
well in that area.
Thanks!
