Default FS 52 S

Hi,
I am planning to buy my first four stroke engine and I am deciding between FS-70 SII and FS-52S. What does this "II" stay for? (I suppose it is newer version of surpass serie)

If so, is there a prevision of the "second" generation of FS-52S?

Regards,

Marian

All OS four strokes are now of the newer generation. They are all very good and reliable. What plane are you going to use them on? A 52 and 70 are for entirely different planes. There is also a 70 ultimate with pump and this is the only OS 4 stroke i wouldnt buy because of pump reliability concerns.

The "II" designates a later generation. The FS-52 Surpass came out at about the same time as the FS-70 II, and was a replacement for the FS-48 Surpass. They enlarged the engine rather than make an FS-48 Surpass II.
