120 AX remote needle valve
Dear Bax,
I would like to utilize a needle valve attached to the fire wall, instead of the integral valve on the front of my 120 AX 2 stroke. Will this work and is there an OS valve assembly that I can utilize. I have a spare remote valve from a 91 FX, if they are compatible. Also, can I leave the existing valve 5 to 8 turns open instead of removing it, or will the existing needle entry hole need to be plugged? Thanks in advance for your support.

You can use almost any needle valve assembly as a remote valve. Just set the main needle several turns open and use the remote assembly. Here is the O.S. remote needle for their large engines:
