Default O.S. Muffler

Bax,

I have two OS mufflers that have the number 744 on the mounting flange. The mounting holes on one are 33mm on centers and the other is 43mm. Can you tell me what these numbers represent?<br type="_moz" />

Default RE: O.S. Muffler

The one with the smaller mounting hole spread is the #744 muffler. The other is the #744B muffler. They have the same casting, but the one is for the .91-size engines. The #744 was for .61-size engines.
