I think the re-release has not stopped so I guess it is still only in its original re-release?
There was the Gold LB that's discontinued, though.. so if they ever bring that back...........

Nothing new and amazing has come from them in a couple years. Most of their 80's kits are better than the kits they have out today.
I just saw the Boomerang re-release, not needed.

LOL.. Tamiya is in it for the money, like all other business, of course.. if they can use the old mold to make $$$, why not?!
I hear ya about the innovation aspect.. and I'd like to see more new stuff, but just saying that it makes sense for them to do the re-re...

I do find it quite odd how off-topic posts in an off-topic forum gets deleted while 4 out of 6 pages of off-topic posts in a heli-specific thread gets to stay
