I got NFS Undercover for xmas,
just went on it this morning for the first time.
A word of warning, if you are planning on buying this game - DONT
how can cars handle so badly !!!
Going 70mph round a corner on a road 4 lanes wide with a footpath either side and a central reservation, i took the correct racing line, and i still needed to slam the brakes on so i didnt hit the wall !!

I am going to race mine for the first time this weekend, wondering how you faired...
my intention is to race it at regionals, but having broken the ESC, i have not yet had time.
What i did find is, it understeers a lot under accelerating and braking.
I also found that the back end kicks out a bit under braking.
If you are racing on a high-grip surface, you will need to weight the front end (20g should do) to keep it from wheelying off the floor under acceleration.
I cant wait to get it running again, along with the TC5

Just ordered a 1GB RAM chip for my home desktop.. (currently has 768MB?)
So now it will be 1024MB + 512MB.. (removing the 256MB chip, and pop in the 1GB chip)
It is a crap PC, so this is just to extend the life of it some more.. hee..
I am not a power user like some of you guys.. I just do the basic stuff at home.. ha!

Make sure your motherboard is able to handle that much memory. Some boards have only a 1gb limit [:@]

Memory is one of those things that, when it was more expensive, I was careful not to waste $$ on it of the PC didn't need it. More memory doesn't really make normal PC use any faster if you're not limited there - it's that when you hit your physical memory limit, performance goes down the crapper, so you really need to prepare for that. Plus, hardcore gamers will want a lot I'm sure, so gaming performance isn't memory limited.
Of course, you can monitor all that and log it for analysis if you really want to. (I have....yes, I'm a geek).
But...nowadays it's so cheap (for the non-bleeding edge stuff), that it's worth spending a few extra bucks to give yourself that buffer room for the future.
I've done that with my recent PC build. [8D]

I need to upgrade 8 sticks at once to keep it even [:@]

Yeah, w/ the operating system sucking up a lot of memory.. I figured that $20 is a good investment to make sure that I am not running out of physical memory (and start going into hard drive / swap files).. I mean, usually, I'd have maybe 3-4 internet browsers open, Excel, and maybe some stuff on the background.. so I figured that 1.5GB will be okay for now..
Ha! We will see.. $20 isn't too bad..

My Dell is able to handle 128gb (16 X 8GB) but that is a little out of my reach budget wise [sm=greedy.gif]
