Hee hee.. which is fine, but then someone says "for sure I'd take a Traxxas over Tamiya".. then I had to post.. ha ha..

ORIGINAL: AutoXMan

Here is why I hate the main forums,

a 13 year old whining that his Tamiya sucks because it is slow.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_63..._1/key_/tm.htm
I couldn't handle him calling it crap, and then the traxxas quote just stirs my blood.
Dude, Traxxas rocks man!

My jato is not stopping and i tried a new brake pad and shoes and it still dose not stop well. I think it is the servo. Is there a way to test servos to see if they are pulling the right amount of torque.

Sadly you are going to have to dish out at least 500 for a decent setup... or just get a blade cx 2 to learn on they are really easy to fly

No, no ,no...you got it all wrong. Take the white thingy and loosen the screw thingy at the same time. Hold the straight thingy and turn it half something or other until the white thiny has room for the screw thingy to move on the straight thingy.

WHAT!?!?!? I think i got it right. Just tighten teh black screw thing so taht it pushes teh white thing against the servo. That way as soon as the servo moves that direction it applies the brakes and will apply full brakes when fully pressed. But it still wont stop good. I really think it is the servo. I have a extra high torque traxxas servo i will test in there later.
