Good call. I wish tower would get more realistic with that price though... 179 is way to high for that Kit IMO.
Maybe 140 ish.

as somebody already pointed out, it needs something to fill them arches more.. looks plain silly like that.

My opinion is that they should add some stock 'Bruiser' type tires and maybe some offset wheels to give it a bit wider stance.
Oh, and if they could drop the front bumper and make one more suitable to the 'Scale' of the Hilux, that'd be nice too.
heh, I guess I could go on and on. [:@]

hey guys, need some more help with my CAD homework, I got this problem. "in an effort to reduce the mass of an aluminum bulkhead for a spacecraft, a machinst drills an array of holes in the bulkhead. The bulkhead is a triangular-shaped plate with a base and heigth of 2.5 m and 1.6 m, respectively, and a thickness of 8 mm. How many 5-cm diameter holes must be drilled clear through the culkhead to reduce its mass by 8kg? For the density of aluminum, use p = 2800 Kg/m(cubed). A forumula for the total mass removed from the bulkhead by drilling N identical holes is: m=NpV where N= # holes R, hole radius V, hole volume and P, density." So far I have got V of the plate is 4 m(cubed) and the V of each hole is .0157 M(cubed) I am stumped with the rest of it, so any help from you guys is apppreciated[8D]

is that bumper in any way similar to the Hilux bumper? or have they ripped it straight off the F-350?

Huh?!
![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
N * p * V, eh?!
Hee hee.. it is not difficult if you don't follow the whole crazy description...
Let's get all the unit into meter first, eh?
8mm thick = 0.008 meter
5cm diameter = 0.05 meter, so radius = 0.025 meter
I think that's all we need.... so the volume of each cylinder = Pi * r^2 * h = Pi * (0.025)^2 * 0.08
The weight of the cylinder = what you got above and multiple that by the density = Pi * (0.025)^2 * 0.08 * 2800
So how many will you need to get up to 8kg?! 8 / (the weight of each cylinder)
Now get busy w/ calculator!!

LB or anyone with the F103GT for that matter, where is you rplace of choice to order the TRF shock upgrade. I am looking to put the money I just got with my Stampede towards the F103GT.
The list:
New shelf queen body [:@] (bound to happen when running the original what can I expect?)
TRF shock
Foam tires.
Now I am a complete newb to foam tires so are there any that fit the stock wheel rims?
I tried the TRF shock on ebay but no luck, will RCMart kill me on shipping?
Just trying to smooth out the power, I am having a hard time controling it (when trying to go fast).... I have no problem going around the track looking good, but having trouble "racing".

Most of the foam tires come pre-mounted.. (for touring cars) I guess you are ordering those Tamiya big foam tires? Yeah, those wheels will be harder to find...

Yeah, Ill search around a bunch, so I just ordered the TRF shock, does that come with oil or is that somnething else I will have to buy? Sorry for being a pain ha ha I just am wondering. I ordered the shock on the bay probably should take like 10 days I am guess or longer from RCMart.

Man, slow news day up in the lounge.
My Mini-Monster Baja is still on backorder from Losi... I'm getting impatient! It's been there for almost 6-7 weeks now.
Definitely interested in seeing how the new Mini-Lst2 platform performs. I also have the CAW extended Chassis kit in my stash too, so I'll be throwing that on there.

Hmm in the thread it says you used #400, maybe you switched it out after trying it out?.
Now Ive been searching around and I maybe just getting some associated shock oil. They have it in 35 wt and 50 wt and 60 and 70 etc. Maybe I should try 50 wt first?
I will try #600 but does anyone know what the equivilant between #600 and standard type?

LOL, I don't remember! But #400 is probably what I have if that's what I said in my post.. and probably does not hurt to go up a bit like what TEX did!!
