Well, after a long time of searching and waiting(LB and I have talked about it before so he knows) I finally landed an original release Dyna Storm.[sm=bananahead.gif] THis should reassure everyone that I am still a Tamiya fan.

After researching I found that the Dyna had been also re-released a few years ago. To say the least I am totally stoked, but here's my dilemma.....

DO I BUILD IT?![]

Dyna Storm 58116
i say yes! yes they DO look great unbuilt, heck i had a hard time tearing open the part bags on my re-re Brat and it was my first real RC! but i think they look even better built, either sitting on a shelf with running gear from their era, or running modern tech and being driven, even if only gently around the house!

There is some dude in my town that has a fake Skyline. He bought all teh GTR logogs for the side and the rear taillight covers... Then you look at it and its Left hand drive like all teh other cars. What a PAWN... If i ever see it again and i am not driving down the raod i will take a pic.

lol funny you mention that, back in those days my friends and i had these somewhat inside jokes about bodies in the trunk, specifically regarding my car. i know that until one of my friends got a van, we'd carry ramps and/or people in the trunk to our skate spots.

SICK! So that's what you have been cooking up! NICE!! [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

I think someone a few days ago was just saying why would anyone not build up the kit.. you know, like kits don't build themselves... (just playin'!)

I say build it! It is a race car, it should be built up.. if it is one of them hardshell classic like a Bruiser / Pajero / etc. Maybe... but for this one, I'd build it up!!

But then, run the DT-02 MS hard.. and run this one easy...

LOL, just because it is left hand drive, doesn't mean it is fake! There are some converted GT-R running around.. but they are VERY rare.. so most likely your neighbor's is a fake.. But do take pics when you see it, ha!

I wonder why would people want to ask the reserve.. just bid to the level that you are comfortable with.. if it is too expensive / too high, don't bid! [&:]

Tell him goodluck,in my opinion.

I didn't even recognize that the car was a LB you posted earlier I had hardly ever seen it without a shell ha ha!

So they can find out how much they have to bid to get the item. People ask me that too. My reserve is always the BIN option so I don't mind. Ask away!

I know the technical reason why, but just saying that it shouldn't matter.. just bid and if it is not met, go up, until you feel it is too expensive.. ha! That was my point!

So BIN is a good way to sell, eh?! I still haven't sold any item at eBay yet!! I think I should start!!

Once you gain more time as a memebr you get more options. I can list items with BIN and let them bid as well. Before when I had BIN and someone bid on it, the BIN option would disappear. Now they can bid and the BIN option stays for the entire auction.

It is gonna be pretty sweet.. although it is more of a GT car, than sports car, though! (too heavy!)

But I'd take one!!

ORIGINAL: DarkFire989

Thats why you need to buy a Nissan Skyline GTR. AWD, it has amazing handleing.
Heavy!?!?!?!? How could it be heavy with a 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. THis is the new skyline btw.

Did you get a chance to run your Futaba FX? (you fix it up?) Or?

We need some action pics / video!!
Yeah I've been running it a lot, taking quite a bit of hits too! I've only broken the front rim carrier axle, it snapped (how?!) when I hit a truck.

I still haven't really taken any action shots yet, been running out in the rain hehe...

We got some snow today, not nearly as much as last year (couple feet) it was more like 4 inches.

To do that dont you just set a reserve and BIN. Once the reserve is met then the BIN disappears.

Is there something wrong with the NX-76, are you buying a new engine?

I bought a used nemesis and did not think the engine i got was as described and had trouble getting it to run good. Then the carb broke and i said screw it and bought a new one on ebay. Between fellow loungers the reserve is only 19.99 and i decided not to tell the dude my reserve.

I hope it sells. Not really much you can do w/ a bum engine, except strip it down and replace anything bad in it. Whats great about ebay is sellers strip down GSTs and sell all the parts for cheap!
