I just noticed,

that my Apex charger had a 15Amp fuse instead of a 10Amp.

i hope this is the cause of the problem

no such luck, it cut out at 700 milliamps and the cells weren't warm.

What a day [:@]

So we (the wife & son) go to the LHS that is over an hour away for something to do since they have an indoor track. I figured that they can watch other people race while I get a couple of emergancy items to make sure I keep running.

So they sit down and I go look for a few items that I need and end up getting 4 things on my list (couldn't find the rest), stand in line and wait...

There were 3 people working - 1 was explaining the hobby to some people looking at a 1/5 scale car, 1 was fixing someone's nitro that they happen to walk in and say it doesn't work - seen the person running all over the shop looking for parts, the last one finally showed up after 5 minutes of everybody standing in line and was helping the people in front of me who wanted a radio.

The people in front of me had at least 8 different radios in front of them ranging from a cheap 2 channel am radio to the 3PKS and was explained the differences between them all for 10 minutes before deciding on the Spektrum DX3R. After that the person working had to explain the contents of the box for at least 5 minutes.

So finally after spending 25 minutes in line, I pay for my stuff and go sit down at the table where the family is for about 5 seconds before I got an ear full on how bored they were [&o]

It happens when I left them, the only car that was on the track decided to join the other 10 people in the pits and work on their cars, talk with each other, work on their cars, talk with each other... Not 1 person was on the track the whole time I was away and that was the reason for taking them there [:@]

The next time if we ever go there again just for something to do on a Saturday, I am going to make sure I have a stock VW Beetle drop it on the track (no tuning what so ever) and just smoke everybody since I will have a 4s lipo BL system

Let's not encourage mechanizeddeath, okay, Longhair?! You don't want him to treat the TB-02 like his Brat....
He still should get a semi just in case something "Bratty" happens

It's better to have and not need than need and not have
hahaha... well it wasn't like i was trying to jump the touring car.

...but it was rather spectacular! [X(]

So my Willy 2 arrived today. I had to pay $25 customs but considering what I got it was a steal. Missing one wheel hex/nut and shift stick from what I can see. No big deal. The post lady recognize me now. I think I made an impression last time when I ran her down half naked just coming out of the shower and realizing she had my towers box.

nice find! that charger looks to be the same one i have, only labeled as the Tower Hobbies 420.

I need something different at the moment since I already have 3 monster trucks (savage, tlt, txt) and the F-150.

Waiting for the semi and eyeballing that F350...

Also trying to figure out what would be the better radio - either way, that is going to cost a lot because of the receivers alone [sm=drowning.gif]
that's the primary reason i like AM. $20 rx and $5 crystal. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

PK Model Racing. I can't blame the LHS since I've been there during the week in daytime with no problems at all... just the people that visit the place [:@]

I am sure it is like that at any given shop during the weekend.
