engine mount help
I bought a cheap fru corsair ( china's verison on a gws ) any way the 370a motor mount is loose and needs to be reguled. Can anyone tell me what angle the shaft should stick out? Should it be straight as posible or down and right a bit? Please help, Justin

RE: engine mount help
Justin be it a cheap copy or a well crafted plane you want your thrust angles to be about 3 deg down and 3 deg right, this is to counter the prop torque. If you are using a brushless motor these measurments may change

RE: engine mount help
thank you i'm not going brushless (yet). I'm kind of a newbie....I can fly aerobird till i'm bored and can fly a 2 meter sail plane pretty good ( I've rebuilt it a bunch but still get it up ). I've read the plane I got will run li-po's but do not know how many cells?
anyone else want to help me with packing tape reenforcement ideas on eps foam?
