Default TOP

We are working on it guys.
A site was looked at yesterday. It has allot of potential, for the whole family.
We have been offered the use of several existing RC fields.
Hang in there and get busy building that profile.

You need a profile.

Rules and sequences wont make a difference on what you bring as long as its a profile.

you are saying if it's a 36" wing span or 100" it won't make a difference ??? i'm not trying to be difficult but some planes fly different then others

Span wont be an issue.

Profile is what your gonna need.

You could bring a Pen Knife or a Giant scale Su-do-khoi.

No way! The last 2 times I have been there everyone wimped out before dawn including me!
Must have been the the great pilot's feast
Kinda neat to look at Darrin's spoiler scattered for 200 ft on the runway when I got up. Those low, high speed knife edges are way cool!
There is a short video at http://ohiomodelplanes.com/gs540p/nighthov.avi of the last night fly taken and produced of course by me.. The quality is typical AVI.
Thistle Downs ROCKS!

Is an airplane like the HSRCM Ecstacy legal for the TOP. I'm thinking of building one, but only if its going to be legal.

You caught me Mike; I think Darren pulled that killer knife edge take off around 4:00 AM, and the party was pretty much over. That was a long day of flying for me: 19 hrs. Did you see Chris torkin over the wreckage about 8:00 the next morning. Debris was flying everywhere. I laughed so hard my side hurt.
Jeff and I talked about a funfly on July 19th, 2003. It's not etched in stone yet; but mark it on your calander.

Default Ecstasy - A Profile?

Knife Brother - I asked the same question a while back, but got no answer. I think that was my answer - no, it is not considered a profile. The Ecstasy is designed to fly and perform like a profile, though has a fuse. If TOP allows the Ecstasy, then it would open it up to a heck of allot more aircraft. Needless to say, this is up to them. Jeff Williams of Indiana is an official on the TOP board. He is currently building one of my Ecstasy kits (talked with him yesterday, fuse done, one wing done, working on the other wing). I don't think that the officials will accept the Ecstasy for TOP competition, but don't let that stop you from purchasing one!
By the way, where do you fly in Alpharetta, GA? I have a brother that lives there. You don't live too far from me. Maybe we could get together and you can see my Ecstasy fly, if you are still interested.

Yea, I saw Chris! Saw him back his bird leading edge deep in the corn too!
I need to get ahold of him, do you know how. Please email me at [email protected]
Please keep me posted on the 19th. Won't miss it and will try to get there earlier this time.

Mike
