Well, you have probably read my threads about the Showflyer, so there is no need to praise it again.
I still love my Showflyer, and it performs very very well (after about 25 flights).
I get a lots of oh's and ah's while flying it and compliments of the look of the showflyer at the field. It is definitely not a common plane. I have not seen another one yet (except on-line here on RCU).
My Saito 100 will fly it straight out of a hover to the moon !

Get one while they are still available !

Pick the Diabolic! That plane is awesome. The 180 degress elevator movement. You can do some pretty crazy stuff with that elevator. I have mine electric with a Hacker! Very good fun fly 3D plane. The arf is really nice.

Weight mine at 6 lbs 13 oz the other day ! That was on a Fedex scale, so I think it is pretty accurate !

Hey Outssider,

Have you decided on a plane for your Saito 100 yet?

I am in the same boat you are. I too have a Saito 100 looking for a home in the same type plane. I was just curious as of what you have come up with. Let me know what you have found..........

Regards,
EdMan

I chose the showflyer....

this is why...

diobolic....I spoke to a friend at my field who had this plane. .....he is a very good pilot, has many of these type planes, an I trust his opinions. He told me that he was experiencing problems in slow flight with the large fat wing interfering with the air flow over the stab/elevator....due to the fact that it is placed midship directly behind the main wing rather than higher on the fuse (like the diablotin and showfler). He was very unhappy with this condition and never flys it !!! so that was good enough for me to reject it !!

diablotin .....would have gone with the fiberglass version. I was afraid that with the glass fuse, it would end up over 7 lb . I felt that the showflyer could come in under 7 lb with the saito 100 so the showflyer won !!

Outssider
It's too late now , but I think you should know , the actual wing area of the ShowFlyer is 1080 sq. in. not the advertised 1240 sq. in.
