The CA hinges are fine however some guys prefer the pinned hinges.

Default CA Hinges

I have aircraft that I have flown for 6+ years with CA hinges without any issues. I do like to seal the control surfaces' seams to keep the oil out of them and recommend sealing the seams regardless whether you use CA hinges or not for numerous reasons.

Yes to the CA hinges. They're good enough!

By sealing the hinge line, you put a piece of covering (Ultracote or Oracover in the case of the Knife ARF) over the hinge gap. This effectively covers (seals) the gap between the flying surface trailing edge and the control surface leading edge. This will make your control surfaces much more efficient. I do it on all my airplanes.

rcFp, the ca hinges that come with the Morris knife are sonictronics and probably the best ca hinge available. They are my first choice of ca hinge, and I promise you I push the limits on my hinges. Jeff Williams

I have banged around my knife loading it into the car and broken the CA hinge (this was in cold weather). I just cut it clean and slid one in next to it. All that to say take a look at them from time to time just to make sure all is well.
