need help on different props
Hello everyone, My son and I started this boat project about a year ago with extra parts from my air plane. The boat is almost 8' long and weighs 28 pounds it is made from balsa wood sticks with a 3/32nd balsa skin on it and then we fiber glassed the entire boat it has 2 25cc weed wacker engines from wal mart on it we brought it to the local pond and dropped it in to try it, it ran like a dog! Lots of rpm and very slow forward speed not what we expected. The props we have on it are 470ss props 2.75" with a 3.85 pitch does anyone have suggestions on what we should use for props. Any information anyone has would be useful. Thanks Evan
