im.from greenville sc. i was on another rc forum and somebody used foul language towards meand when i did the same back one of his buddies which was a moderator blocked me off the site.lol i dont know all the correct termonology for all the stuff with rc boats so if i ask a dumb question its because im learning. i hope there are different type of people on here. thanks.heres a couple of pics of my first rc boat.

The Moderator should have investigated further before taking any actions to you. I was a boating forums Mod in here for 4 years and that's what I would have done. Here, our first action is to do a Moderated Status which means that the public won't see any postings until they have been approved my the forum's Moderator. This can be an indefinite amount of time, from days to however they feel is neccessary. Continued harrassment against anyone will result in a banning and IP block, whether or not it's seen by the members.
Try to enjoy your stay here. If you have any problems, click on that little triangle in the bottom left corner of the reply to report it. Editing by the person who would give you a hard time does no good as the Mod's can see every posting before the edits. Secrets from behind the curtain.

Replying to abuse with abuse will never endear you to a moderator. My advice - report the abuse and completely disregard the words of the aggressor (if you respond you have only given them the reaction they are after in the first place).

When one person is being abusive it is clear to all. When two are feuding - they both look the fool.

Let me know if you ever have an issue - and let me enforce the rules!!

OK, onward. Are you going to play or race? I know that there are some clubs in your area but running mostly gas and nitro but some really good people.

The buildings are still there but the business may have shut down, I'm thinking that there's one on South Westnedge and another on Stadium Drive. I don't get out towards either of them much. I did a little HVAC work when I was fresh out of high school and my youngest brother makes HVAC ductwork. Yeah, we like our city, too too large or small but a lot going on.
Check the www.impba.net website as they should show the clubs and races around you. What I did was just to attend a race first to see how everything is done before trying my hand at racing. Ask questions as we love ot talk about our boats. Get around me and good luck shutting me up!
