Default WATER COOLED

I HAVE A HOMELITE 30CC AND I WANT TO INSTALL A WATER JACKET, DO I NEED TO TAP THE LOWER CASING WITH A 10/32 BRASS FITTING OR EXACTLY HOW DO I RUN THE WATER PUMP? THIS IS MY FIRST BOAT EVER BUILT AND IT RUNS FINE BUT GET'S TO HOT. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME SOON THE ENGINE IS OUT NOW AND DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK OUT AGAIN[:@]

As long as the boat stays moving in the water, not idling but runnig at a decent speed, you shouldn't need a water pump. These are mostly used on boats with a clutch and those that putt around in the water.
If the motor is getting too hot, you may have a water flow problem elsewhere.
